    if you park at cobo center, i guess you can hang there and drink some beers before show? they won't run you out on roof top??? where do most park, in the garage?

    we are definately eating somewhere first, Red Smoke, Sweetwater Tavern, Green Dot all sound and look incredible so hard to chose dammit....

    Red smoke is OK. Check out fishbones!! A little pricier but best downtown. I always park on the surface street lots personally. That way you can always get your car if you can't drive home or back to hotel.

    Arrived at the venue, all the gear is currently being unloaded off the trucks at the dock while outfront there are ~25 people waiting in the GA line although there are some empty chairs/blankets hanging about.
