    also noticed that the prices are rising quickly as rooms are taken up at all of the downtown hotels for the show

    Not an out of towner, but I'm staying at the Greektown Casino hotel. Got a room for $150 a night a couple of months ago. Kind of pricey, but it's a good area to hang out at after the show.

    I'm staying at the Greektown Casino, I booked the room as soon as I won the lottery, I got it through the name your price thing on priceline, got it for $100.

    My neighbors are staying at the Crowne Plaza.

    I believe it's about 1-2 blocks from The Joe and is right between The Joe & the BW3 where the preparty is at. I think he said it was about $150.

    I'm driving back home and leaving for Moline as soon as I get the kids off to school. :)

    thats not too close to the venue, but an easy cab ride. The area around it is kinda shady, i would stay downtown if you can.

    There is not really any hotels left around the arena/area for under 200$, both MGM and greektown are now around around $300. So i just saw what was up in windsor, which is a short 15 min bus ride from venue and a great party scene for after the show, i got a room for 120$ last night at Cesears Palace, its a great place! Let me know if any other fans are planning on staying there, im riding solo.

    If you have the $$ to spend, the restaurant in the Westin, Roast is amazing. Just took my bf there for his birthday. Pricey, but worth it. But, if you're not interested in shelling out the cash for a full meal, there are great happy hour specials at the bar. I wouldn't pass it up, especially as it's the place you'll be staying!

    i've decided on staying on Canadian side at caesars windsor. great price and there is a shuttle that takes you right to the Joe for $5 each way. hotel is 3 miles from the joe on Canadian side.
