    Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the second package arrived back in my mailbox last night. So at least neither package got lost in the mail, which was my biggest fear. The bad news is that I will not be able to make it back to the post office until Saturday morning, so jjflash will have to wait a little longer to get his second package.

    For those who missed it, 1 of 2 packages arrived at jjflash's house. The 2nd package has the list of people in it (among other things) so in order to keep it some what a surprise now, I will wait to post the donation list until next week. The package will be sent priority mail, so it should only take two days to reach its new home. If anyone has any questions, just shoot me a PM. Thanks everyone - we're almost there!

    Happy endings update: The second package arrived today :bz Having run thru the enemy USPS gamut from FL to AL, back to FL and, finally, to my front porch in AL, it made it safely, road-tested w/ box scars to prove it. For a longer winded :DTHANK YOU :D please see my post a few above this one.

    The second box contained a vinyl copy of Yield, one of Ed's picks (orange w/ 'Ed' on it), the list of all the good peeps who made it possible and the good news that over $150 went to Hope for Gabe. Gabe is such an inspiring little dude and I look forward to being able to tell his parents the story of how this contribution was made. I'd listed three albums to make it a bit easier to hopefully locate one and am, to say the least, excited and surprised to have received two!!

    I graciously accept the unconditional goodness from each of you. I still can't believe that out of all the good folks on this forum that I received a Grail. It's amazing that beyond the simple qualifiers of a) your musical world is rendered in the color of Pearl Jam fan and b) you contribute something positive to these forums, it doesn't matter where you live, what you look like, how you talk, what you drive, etc. This grail thing and by extent this community is, IMHO, a basic and fundamental sharing of what is good in the human spirit. So I humbly receive a piece of each of your goodness and will do my part to pass it on.

    Hope to see many of you two weeks from tomorrow in Memphis \m/
