  • HammerHeart! Come on people!
  • What song would you hand pick to open the St. Paul show? Special meaning in play.

    Mine would be "Small Town."

Only for the part when the house lights come on during the "I just want to scream 'hello!' My God it's been too long. Never dreamed you'd return!"

When (if) they play this song, the building will go nuts with jubilation! It would be cool to start the night.

Hard to imagine. Hard to imagine the band was gone for so long.

Small town is a setlist given. No need to waste it on the opening song slot which usually contains a song that is played only as an opening song.

    Is it a given?

The point of playing it first, would be to get that eruption first.

Small town is played at probably 90% of shows. That line will get a crowd eruption regardless of when it's played or where it is played.

According to stat tracker, it's been played 58% of the shows.

Either way, I feel you're missing my point. But whatever.

    How about Dirty Frank?

Thank funky bass line starting the show would be a hell of a curve ball!

Half the place would explode, the other half would have no other choice but to get drawn in. After Dirty Frank, they could go into their usual 4/5 song tear to open the show....
  • I think my feelings on "Dirty Frank" are obvious. That would be incredible

Totally unrelated, except that it's a MN music post. Anyone else love this combo?

Ozzie Guillen on his way? I wouldn't think the Twins would go there, but Ozzie always liked and respected the organ-I-zation.

Just Moline. Kind of a miracle I can even hit that show with work. Should be a great time for both shows!
