    I was no fan of Byrnzie and I do think he brought this punishment down on himself over time...but I will say this:

    He was no Pandora. ;-)

    There have been several over time like that one including one in which the "C" word was used. He had been warned more than once.

    He will be missed so hopefully only a temporary ban.

    I have no clue why he would be banned now, but I do know that he was a full throttle attacker, relentless in attempting to shut me down a couple months ago. I didn't buy it, I simply ignored him.

    Too bad no one else seems to notice that.

    That being said: this is a message board for a band who wrote such songs as Blood, Go, Not For You, Leash and Whipping. A band that has always stood their ground, stood up for their fans, and tackled some pretty intense issues. It's also a band that attracts some very opinionated and outspoken fans. So in that regard, I do wish the mods would lighten up a bit and let some heated discussions, as long as they are not threatening or violent, continue. I like coming here, but I have seen some real good people banned for life (though I admit a few I agreed with their banning). Real good, legit people, who are big fans of the band and have a lot to contribute to the community we have here.

    I think sometimes it is the trolled who are targeted, instead of the instigators...and that's not fair.

    See, at least u knew how to handle it like an adult. Just ignore him if you didn't agree. I know it's hard, I have a hard time ignoring some of the shit said on here (I'm Muslim, get my drift lol) but to cry about it to the mods or for the mods to treat this forum like we're a bunch of kids is comical. This bands been around for over 20+ years, nothing that's said to us personally should offend. I don't think pj has to many thin skinned fans who get offended easily. I think those are the type who don't mingle or post anyways. But to ban, in this day, 2014, for speaking or posting your mind is censorship and WRONG. We live in America (some of us) and if we can't speak what's on our minds, what's the purpose then? Imagine if Eddie was told what to write about and what NOT to write about? Imagine the music we'd have then? Popsicle in the ass would sound GREAT! Ya byrnzie gave it to people he didn't agree with no doubt. But that shouldn't be taken personally. I think and know byrnzie would be more offended by the message and info he's giving being silenced then people name calling him or whatever. He doesn't care about petty shit, it's the message and information that needs to be addressed towards the issues at hand. This place has taken a big hit no doubt with his silencing. Not cool

    Edit- and not for nothing, you did ask him and fuck to leave the "anti-war" thread before it was locked. That is kind of trying to shut him down. I'm just saying. He can't defend himself on here so let's be honest too.

    To be fair, this is Pearl Jam's house (so to speak). If you come into my house and you insult my friends (even when I invited you), I will ask you to change your behaviour or leave. While I do not agree with the mods' decision, I can at least understand it. At the end of the day, I'm going to miss the guy and the immense wealth of information he shared with us all.

    Have seen him defend himself after being provoked. Not saying you did. And yeah he had a passion. Which was a good thing and what most of us outliers possess.

    Admittedly I avoided most subjects that he was involved with, most people here will disagree with me on almost everything, but disagreeing is generally where it ends. Sometimes he would disagree then basically call you an idiot for not seeing it his way.

    Still, my biggest complaint about this forum is the lousy format. Hello, can we get a back button?

    Yes, certain band members insult their fans, but it is their house. Gotta deal with it.
