    I have a friend that goes every year. I've read in a couple places that rich silicon valley gen xers are starting to bring in camps of rvs with AC and all kinds of amenities for their exclusive little groups and trying to outspend each other with extravagant "art". I give it a few years before they ruin the original idea completely. My buddy loves it and always comes back a little spaced out. Hahaha

    I know a guy who goes to this thing religiously. He seems to have some kind of little group that goes and they get dressed up in really weird neon colored skimpy outfits

    I know nothing about Burning Man outside of those photos I've seen on the fakebook and the instatweaks, so I'm not gonna judge - but it's not something I would personally be interested in attending.

    Why not? Other than the occasional 80 mph sandstorm, it seems like it would be kind of cool. Like camping...but a lot weirder.

    I'd be down (up? fuck me lingo-wise and a tip'o the hat to Seinfeld / pretty-face Cortese) for the festival itself. Not so sure about the people though.

    My tolerance for that shit is way low these days.
