    I also think this thread title might be misleading. I wouldn't want a Tenclub slipmat, I would want a Pearl Jam slipmat!

    Oh yeah, good point. I would definitely NOT buy a 10C slipmat.
    The 10C slipmat will take place of the patch & window cling in next year's membership gift. 8-}
    I could actually live with that... as long as it wasn't "art by Jeff Soto."

    Here's my QOTSA Emek slipmat - I love this thing!

    Looks like a twister dial is it's posed to be? Forgive me if I'm daft.

    I would love a 10c slipmat in my membership kit.
    I would actually use it. as opposed to putting it on the shelf with my other stickers and patches.
    If I knew how to sew then I could potentially create a nice paramilitary outfit from all the patches I have laying around.

    Are slipmats like these actually good for using on your turntable? I thought they were more for looks for when there's no record on it. Don't they slip, rather than holding the record tightly coupled to the platter?

    They do work good.The record sits better on the slipmat then the plastic bottom.

    This looks kinda funny too :D Maybe not so good on the records though... image

    But there are tons of possibilities for stuff like this. They could make a record case that comes as the materials. Thick cardboard or whatever material, and the screws and corners. Maybe with a couple of stickers. Then you can build your own record carrying case. Not a huge one, one for the 45s. Would be easier to ship too.

    No Slipping, only bad thing I notice is more static with felt slip mats. I use a cork mat now. will eventually move to an all Acryl-It Platter, when I can afford it.

    I love it for the fact that static is GONE. I am not a well trained audiophile, but I do think I get a 'fuller' sound from the mat. The bass also seems tighter and more well defined.

    good to hear a "real" person has used it and likes it.
    I tend to not believe a lot of these audiophile message boards.
    I feel like manufactures are trolling them to promote their products.
