    My tentative plan/wishlist:

    Leave Columbus late morning.
    Get to Cincinnati.
Buy posters and t-shirt and put in car.
    Go to Wishlist party
    Go elsewhere??
    Go to show.
Drive back to Columbus immediately after show end. Hopefully I can park a bit north of the arena.

There are two or three lots on Pete Rose Way that I have always used when I am in Cincy. Its where I parked in '06 and plan on parking this year. Its close enough to go get merch and bring it back to the car which I also plan on doing.
    Columbus-2000
    Columbus-2003
    Cincinnati-2006
    Columbus-2010
    Wrigley-2013
    Cincinnati-2014
    Lexington-2016
    Wrigley 1 & 2-2018

Per Wikipedia, largest to smallest concert capacity at venues on the tour:

    St. Louis - 22,000
    Detroit - 22,000
    Milwaukee - 20,000
    Denver - 20,000

    Lincoln - 15,000
    Tulsa - 14,000
    St. Paul - 13,000

Don't really know how accurate these are, but I guess I was surprised by St. Paul. Seems much smaller than I thought.

I think it will be a cool experience for me, & several others, to see them play 1 of the largest venues & the smallest venue of the tour on back to back nights!

Are these venues average size for PJ concerts in the US?
They're smaller than I thought, which makes for cooler shows in my book.

i kinda saw that with Charlottesville and Charlotte last year (add Baltimore just a few days earlier), and I must say it was sweet. The energy was there for all of them, but it was cool to see the mass of people in Charlotte jamming after the two smaller shows, which were cool because they were...er...smaller.

Do you guys think these numbers include the seating behind the stage?
I would think not...because they aren't USUALLY sold for concerts.
How much would making seating available here add to the capacity numbers?
I go to TONS of shows and can't think of many other groups that routinely sell these seats behind the stage!!!
    What are your thoughts??

I would assume those are maximum capacity numbers including rear stage. A center stage set up at joe Louis holds 21,152.

Good to know...I have always wondered how they figure out the seating capacities!
I've heard that the stage location has a lot to do with how many seats are lost for concert as opposed to sporting events when the floor sections of the arenas are in use.

Three of the four shows I'm going to this fall are at three out of the four smallest venues on the tour. The Moline and St. Paul shows back to back will be the smallest venues in terms of capacity back to back.

Should be very interesting to see what happens. Also interested to see how PJ continues to change up the sets on this tour, and find ways to "out-do" themselves with the set lists.

The weather is feeling more and more like fall, and I can feel the tour and football approaching. It's going to be an amazing October!

Looks like I'm getting ready to move to Iowa from Virginia. Already have Moline tickets, but going to make a plea to the mrs. to add Lincoln and St. Paul to the itinerary.

Welcome to Iowa! What part of the state are you moving to? I've got tickets to Lincoln, Moline, and St. Paul so I'll be an Iowan enjoying the midwest tour too!

Thanks! My wife is originally from New London, IA, but has been on the East Coast for the past eleven years. Not 100% sure where we'll be moving to just yet, but right now it seems like it'll be Fort Dodge area, and that puts us roughly 3 1/2 hrs from the three shows you mention.

We're excited as we met at West Virginia University, and they play at ISU, which will be close. Not sure how many people say this, or how long they mean it, but for the time being: I'm pumped to be an Iowan!

Well congrats on becoming an Iowan! I've lived in the state for all 27 years of my life and I have never really had the urge to move out of state. I grew up in the Ames area but I am an Iowa grad and a Hawkeye fan. Fort Dodge isn't a bad drive to Ames and West Virginia shouldn't have any problem beating up on ISU! :-bd I now live in Des Moines but its always good to have another Pearl Jam fan in Iowa!

As a fellow Iowan and PJ fan, welcome to Iowa my friend! Always great to have another PJ fan in the state.

Moline is probably going to be as close to a home town show that we will get, so look forward to seeing you there!
