My 6 year old playing Pearl Jam on guitar

Very impressive! But could you teach that big teddy bear to play?I'm trying to think of a really good signature.0

That big teddy bear has been his "audience" since he was 2. He loves to play. We had a friend of a friend of a friend who saw a video and invited him to play his ukulele at a little music festival we have here around the Ocoee River, the Ocoee River Jam. He was thrilled to do it. He's at a stage where he learns almost immediately. I just play for hobby, I don't have a talent, per se. He's always been mesmerized by the guitar. I love to play with him. He teaches me things at this point. I'll include the festival video below. It's a little shaky due to my nervous hands and I didn't want to get too close to the stage so he could have it all to himself. Thanks to all of you for the kind words. He loved reading them.

I had the honor to get to meet and see Cade play at the Ocoee River Jam. The experience really is astonishing. His love for the guitar and for PJ is so amazing at his age. Whether he ever is a "star" or not, you are laying a solid foundation for a connection that he will have with his Daddy for life.
How awesome would it be if somehow...someway...you could get Ed to pull him on stage and do a Ukulele duo? That would be insane and an experience that Cade would cherish for the rest of his life. Of course, it's a long shot. But if the mods read these posts and pass them along to the band, I say here is the first signature on that petition!0 -

this is incredible. you must be so proud++
it reminds me of a story of a few years ago...a very good old friend has a mid-teenaged son that can play almost any instrument...anyways after dinner they asked ben if he would play a song for us and he goes gets his acoustic and plays us a song he wrote! the song was incredible. his parents are music fans, just like yourself. all i could think of after the song was played was how proud his mom and dad must be.
like you, music was never pushed on the child, so to see this, its' amazing. love this thread.

Wow, this was really cool. I am reminded again that I have no darn talent at guitar.
Watching how he goes about it was inspiring --- not only will I pick up the guitar again this weekend but I am going to make more time to do the things I love to do that I am actually good at.
So bravo to you -- you guys must be very proud -- and let the little guy know he is spreading what should always be spread when people listen to music....strong feelings.
Made my day just a little better watching this, very cool. The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
