Obama has been a boogieman for the right since January of 2009. Now they are talking themselves into impeachment. We are a divided country with one weak party and one insane party.

a nice sentiment, but what alternative is there?? The system wouldnt even give Ron Paul a chance and hes an established, rich, white politician...veteran, physician, not for sale... Never had a chance so what exactly (aside from campaign reform, which of course comes from the inside) are the other options? Revolution? Please tell me you dont take this option seriously.

You act as if it has never happened before.

You act as if other countries haven't successfully done it recently.

Eh, you're probably right, 90% of this country is too lazy to worry about their future.

America's leadership has been just fine. The GOP should be very happy that the muslim world hates us more now then ever before. Criticism of Obama for world events is just illogical. Obama is exactly what I wanted...

I think it's hilarious to see the GOP talking heads bitch about our spending and then turn around and bitch that we should be policing the world.

I sit back and watch the talking heads from both parties point the fingers at each other and just shake my head.

I tend to as well...except in this case it's pretty hard not to see that the GOP is the true problem. Just look at how unproductive the House is....that really can't be argued.

    I completely agree with this.

There was a time not so long ago where things got accomplished on Capitol Hill for the good of the American people through horse trading (making deals).

A famous example was Tip O'neil and Ronald Regan. On opposite sides of politics but worked together to get things done.

But not anymore. The GOP in general and the Tea Partiers in particular are to blame for the almost complete shut down on Capitol Hill.

What's going to happen is that the Republican will self implode if they don't start paying attention and attempt to fix their party. Dems will win most seats simply because Republicans have become completely laughable to the public.

I think the Republicans are going to win the White House in 2016. Perhaps the most undeserved victory in human history, but I do think it will happen.

Don't count on it. Still district by district and the voters that vote like their representatives.

Eh. People are waking up. Sure there are still a lot that are still asleep at the wheel. But that's declining.

waiting on people waking up to end the Republican party will be like waiting for rip van winkle to wake up

The guys from always sunny in Philadelphia nailed politics long ago...
"Dennis: Who am I supposed to vote for? Am I supposed to vote for the—the Democrat who's going to blast me in the ass or the Republican who's blasting my ass?
Mac: You see, politics is all just one big ass-blast."

Leadership stands no chance when the crazies run the asylum. Behavior on the hill is now just about re-election. They shouldn't even call it a job, there is more campaigning done on the house and senate floors than anywhere else in politics. Its disgusting and until people quit voting for the lesser of two evils, as unsung pointed out, there will be no change and it will progressively get worse. Hard to imagine that it can get worse...but I promise you it will.

My unsolicited advice: Quit worrying about it and just take care of you and yours the best you can while being nice to everyone else. Don't wait for the federal gov't to do anything and just start pushing for change in local behavior and gov't. I am done worrying over things I cannot control, I am done worrying about politics the game...and I do blame that on leadership, but it isn't Obama's fault, the entire country is to blame for the "leadership" in Washington.

Can't happen....Jeb is way too moderate and I don't think he is willing to sell his soul like ROmney did. ROmney was a moderate that was forced to be a Tea Partier.

My opinion: I think the GOP is toast until someone is willing to come forward and run directly against the Tea Party. They will most likely lose an election to give the GOP time to sort out (again) but the GOP can't survive with the Tea Party tumour attached to it.

obama changed his tune after election, if Romney was to win 2016 I'm worried he may change his as well so he would not be getting my vote.

Romney's running? Moderate republican ditching "real" conservative social issues could win. Be interesting.
