Hell of a road trip, congrats! I am doing a true "road" trip and driving from the Washignton DC area to Memphis, then up to Detroit, then back home. I put in for St. Paul as well but got shut out, probably a good thing as that drive would have been terrible.Sandy66 said:Coming from Australia, doing 10c reserved for Memphis and bought tickets for Detroit and St Paul. Have only seen PJ once at Big Day Out in Melbourne and Eddie solo in Melbourne and vowed to see them again so here I come and it is going to be awesome!!!

Yea, I am a bit nervous cause I am doing it solo and never been far from home alone before but my love for PJ has made me get off my arse and start living my life and getting out amongst the world so it a good thingBDO, Melbourne, 2014. PJ just tweeted a link to tickets for Memphis. Have you guys looked at the stadium chart? http://www.ticketmaster.com/pearl-jam-memphis-tennessee-10-14-2014/event/1B004CADA70665F6?artistid=735836&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60
I'm wondering about section between the pit and the club section (104-115). They wouldn't put non-10 club seats between us and the stage, right? Any insight?0 -
Coming solo from Boston.0

Hey guys, just thought I'd throw this out there, I've got 2 reserved for Memphis. I have a very low number 93xxx so my seats will be very good. If anyone with GA is looking to trade for reserves, please PM me. Thanks.0

They usually film episodes of Nashville around downtown a lot during the day some, so you might be able to stumble upon them. There's usually shows a couple of nights a week at the Ryman, most of them are country shows. I know Loretta Lynn is playing the Ryman that weekend before the PJ show. there's lots of bars with live music downtown on Broadway (the Stage, Robert's, Tootsies to name a few) with some good live bands. Definitely check out the Blue Bird Cafe too. the first show of the night is free(first come first served) and you never know who will show up. as far as where to stay, most all of downtown is good. Don't know your price range, but best hotels downtown are probably Hilton (right by arena, across the street from Ryman and by Country Music Hall of Fame) and the new Omni (connected to HOF). There's also plenty of other hotels down on West End area (near Vanderbilt university and Centennial Park, which has a full size replica of the Parthenon in Greece). Just check hotels.com or priceline or something and if you have questions about locations, just post them here or pm meOzzie said:
