    such a great version, love Ed whaling at the end

    So tonight I get off of work. It's been a terrible day. It"s been a long day. It's been a very hard day. I manage a locally owned, very popular restaurant, and Father's Day is always a busy day. It is especially hard for me because I lost my dad 4 years ago this week. I get in my car, relieved to have survived. My radio is set to Pearl Jam Radio and Release starts playing. I sing along and tear up driving home, missing my dad so much. The very next song was Light Years. I immediately smiled and sobbed uncontrollably. I kept thinking of my dad, and then I began thinking about each one of you, and how amazing you all are to support this campaign to hear this song in Memphis. I thought about Rivers, who I never met, didn't know of until this was started. I thought about all of the comments where someone mentioned losing someone they love. I thought about how music helps to heal us all and comfort us. I just wanted to share this with you, and urge the band to please play Light Years in Memphis.
