Baseball Walk Up Songs (PJ Related)
I was on Twitter the other day and @FollowThePadres tweeted about how he wished David Freese of the Cardinals was still with the Padres just because his walk up song is Stinkfist by Tool.
So I did a search and tried finding a list of all walk up songs by every player in MLB for 2011. Hard to find, couldn't really get to it, but I did find this: http://wikibin.org/articles/list-of-baseball-entrance-music.html - based on the comments below the article it looks like this list was compiled in 2008, and it doesn't have every player - but it has a lot.
In this list, how many come out to Pearl Jam? 6. And Sean Casey was a good friend of mine in college - so that's awesome.
*David Bell: Songs by Pearl Jam
*Wilson Betemit, New York Yankees: "Better Man", Pearl Jam
*Ben Broussard, Seattle Mariners: "Even Flow", Pearl Jam
*Sean Casey, Detroit Tigers: "Even Flow", Pearl Jam
*Joe Crede, Chicago White Sox: "World Wide Suicide", Pearl Jam
*Lyle Overbay, Toronto Blue Jays: "Jeremy", Pearl Jam; "Alive", Pearl Jam, "Even Flow", Pearl Jam
Can anyone on this board with superior searching skills or a lot of times on their hands find a more recent article or list with current walk up songs for MLB players? I'd like to see current players with PJ as their walk up songs.
Also, I'm assuming these players need to get PJ's permission to use the songs, and PJ gets paid as a result of licensing?

2008? Backspacer didn't come out until Sep 2009.
Jason Bay - "Alive" for this fan's list at #5
But his #2??? "Rockstar" by Nickelback for Josh Beckett. Disgusting.
Eddie dedicated a bunch of songs to the Phillies in 09 during the world series, specifically Ibanez for the Seattle connection- Wislist, Victorino for the Hawaii connection- Given to Fly, and Brad Lidge- Save You which he doesn't do anymore.
This could help you too

And thanks to bad play and bad managing, that was the highlight of this Twins fan's night!

And speaking of hockey, the United Center in Chicago plays several PJ songs throughout the Blackhawks games. Unfortunately, because of a lot of bad luck, that is done until October.
