All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.
The problem is someone asked me what it was about and I described it as Once Upon a Time but for horror stories instead of fairy tales and now I can't not think of it like that.

I didn't really like the way the first season ended, but cheesy to me. But overall I liked the characters, so I decided to watch the 2nd season. I'm very glad I did.
Showtime has already renewed for season three, which is both confusing and exciting to me.
Confusing because the way our main characters ended the season, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a series finale rather than a season finale.
Exciting because a shake up of the main cast might not be a bad thing. I loved Rassilon (Timothy Dalton) but I think his story has been told. Same for Josh Hartnett, though I will not be complaining if he comes back. Frankenstein's monster, calling himself John Clare, can stay gone, but I think if he reappeared in the end of the third season it'd be a nice twist.
It seems that the set up for the next season will be focused on Dorian Gray & Billie Piper as the big bad, which leads me to figure Frankenstein will play a very central role in the season. I can't imagine Miss Ives NOT being the main character so I'll just assume them two team up after he confesses what the deal is with his "cousin" or whatever. So it could be very exciting indeed, and maybe take a little break from the good v. Evil, God v. Devil subplots. Not that those aren't enjoyable, but I mean, a little break, you know?
Anyone else watch it?

I wouldn't be surprised if Sembene is reborn in Africa, for that matter.
I do hope the funny little man will be back. I liked him.
