Hey - did you notice at the face off prior to the winning goal, that they were playing Why Go? It was literally 30 seconds prior to the score, on the same shift. As I'm listening to it, I'm thinking, that'd be cool if the hometown singer was leading them right to victory.

Anyway, I'm not a Blackhawks fan, but was rooting for them. I'm a seven game series fan every day of the week. I always root for that. Will root again tomorrow, and for les Habs tonight. Good luck.

I did notice that. They play a ton of PJ at the United Center...whoever runs the music there must be a huge PJ fan. I think I even heard "Sweet Lew" a few games ago.

Yeah they like them at Staples but nothing like Chicago and Philly, who also plays lots of PJ.

2 for 23 doesn't get you to NHL finals. habs' power play woes killed them. (Plus losing one of the world's best goalies!)

Agree ... PP was brutal. Dustin played great the rest of the team played like shit tonight. Losing price was a huge loss, not having Weise tonight was another big loss for them he was outstanding in these playoffs. That's the way it goes ... Injuries happen.

Being a Devils fan, a friend asked me during the first round who I wanted to win the Cup. I said something to the effect of 'I don't know, I want alot of Game 7's. But I know who I don't want to win the cup... The Rangers or the Kings.'
    Sorry for jinxing it...

No question losing Price was bad, but Tokarski did his job when he had to!

Do you think with Price in net in game 2 Montreal goes down 2-0. I don't. That was the difference in this series ... imo. Plus lets be honest ... Tokarski gave Montreal a chance to win, Price has the ability to steal a game or 2 as he did in the Boston series ... that ability to steal a game here or there is why Tokarski was an afterthought on draft day and Price went 5th overall.

Tokarski did a very admirable job considering the situation. But at the end of the day, Lunq is a world class goaltender and the Habs would have needed Price at his best to win the series. I thought taking this six showed great heart and character from the Habs as after the injury, I thought it could have been worse.

Great year for them. I don't like the new playoff format though. I don't mind two divisions, but I prefer more traditional conference seeding.

Damn hats off to Crawford. I was calling him a choker halfway through the last game. He won the last two games by making big saves. Game 7 baby ....I love our chances to go to the finals as much as we could have won the last two and Chicago steppd d up. Gotta love game 7s.

    Chicago 13-0 the last 2 years in games 5-6-7 ... that's a championship team.

Wow, what a fantastic third period that was. You would think that with all those goals scored, it would be crappy goaltending, but that wasn't the case. That was elite goaltending giving up goals to ridiculous playmakers on both sides. Really fun to watch.
