What about Ford Field or Comerica Park?

Oh shit, 65,000 at Ford Field? Let's go all out and get 100k at the Big House! Even 41k+ at Comerica may be difficult in a city that isn't Chicago, Philly, Boston, or New York. 20k at the Joe is probably more realistic. I wouldn't mind the Breslin like someone else mentioned.

No offense, no thanks on the oversized & probably bad sounding venues with bad sight lines.

I would much prefer a 4-5 night stay at the Fox Theater or the State Theater if they want to go all GA ! :);)

Ahhh, yes. Good ol' Crisler Arena. I haven't been there since the big renovation a few years back. Excellent choice!

Loving all the Michigan chatter. Lets hope we get some attention on this tour. I'm guessing Joe Louis gets the Detroit show

The Crisler Center is beautiful after the renovation, no more dark and dank Arena - it is now the Center! :) I thought it would be a great place to play in between London and Wrigley last summer! But the band didn't take my suggestion! I'm not big on the Palace and the Joe is old and grimy, so A2 seems like a good middle place to play! ;)

BBW - I'm an idiot for not going to shows earlier...

I think it will look like this, starting mid-September

    Tampa
    Atlanta
    Nashville
    ACL 1
    Vegas
    Denver
    ACL 2
    Louisville/Cinci
    Indy
    Chicago x2
    Detroit
    Toronto
    Montreal

Hits up a lot of places that did not get a show last tour. Very nice

Hoping for 2 Chicago shows. And if they do it early enough, maybe 1 or both of them at Alpine Valley.

I have seen some good shows at the Palace. I wouldn't mind that. How about DTE? Always a drunken good time there.

The hockey arena tour in the fall (Pitt and Buffalo at least) were great venues, and just the right size. Joe Louis would be fine.

How about Belle Isle? They had the Orion festival there, Metallica and RHCP last year.

I hear you Jonsey - the Palace and DTE are just difficult to get to from Ann Arbor (silly, I know) and nothing much around there for Pre-concert fun. I hate the traffic getting out of both the Palace and DTE. I don't mind Joe Louis for concerts, just wished the new arena was already built. Belle Isle is an interesting idea. I will be at any concert they play within 400 or so miles, no matter where, but just would love to have a show in my hometown! :)
