For the Vinyl collector (DMB)

I know this should be in a different section, but I think most people hang in the Porch.

For the collector, DMB is getting into the act. They just announced the Vinyl release of Remember Two Things, which is the album that was sold out of the back of the van as DMB toured my lovely Richmond/Charlottesville area. Here's the site for those interested but not on his email list. It's all live and really a fantastic album. Two 180 gram LPs. $45 after tax and shipping. I bought mine already.

    I buy from Soundstage all the time and they are awesome. The way the package their vinyls is first class. If you have never bought from them, I suggest you give them a chance in the future. Their customer service is also spectacular.

    Why? never had an issue with soundstage, or heard of any really. Probably could get it with free shipping from BullMoose, or Amazon even.

    I have ordered from soundstage before and they are great. But, you hear about orders being cancelled with limited items. Not saying that will happen here, but I'll pay the few bucks extra to make sure I get the LP. Also, no indication on soundstage about foil numbering.

    Bullmoose is great too. They are my local store, but I have preordered limited LP's from them in the past and they were never able to get ahold of copies.

    My guess is that it will be just like vault 3 vinyl, pressed to order and after that you can't buy it

    My guess is it will be out after this is released. Also would be nice for PJ Vault 4 to be announced as well.

    Also, the whole album is not live. There are some studio tracks as well.

    Can that be right? Can Amazon really sell it for that much less than DMB does directly? That would be annoying considering I'm a prime member too. I could cancel my order and do the other, but then I'd be worried it was a mistake and I get screwed and have nothing.

    Why take the chance... seen in the past amazon orders being cancelled. Think PJ Sevens was one such article...but that was not a presale.

    Yeah, agreed. I feel more confident getting it from DMB.

    Next big release is Zeppelin. They are going to start releasing in Vinyl starting with Zep I

    I now have a solid collection of vinyls going. Ironically, I don't own a record player yet! I guess I really need to do that. Have an Integra feeding Def Tech BP's so I'm sure I could hear the difference. My wife thinks I've lost it.

    I think they mean that this is their first piece of wax of DMB that they now own, not that this is DMB's only wax release ever...
