It finally did it. An opened (but never played) Benny is about to sell for 1000. Opened is at 1,000 now. Where does it go next?

Sealed Benny's were going for around 1500 before the 10c started selling their spare copies at the pop events the past few years.

I still don't think it'll get a vinyl repress. The band can't seem to get around re-releasing the studio albums that were never intended to be limited. If they can't get around to re-releasing the studio albums what are they odds they re-release an album that was limited on purpose?

If there was a homerun emoticon then I would have just put that other than typing. Why are they still withholding these??????

IMO if the demand is high then the black market will make $ when the band won't release it. Still seams odd they aren't wiling to take money when they would make 1 mil+ on the first day of a full catalogue rerelease.

These bootlegs should get their attention. If you recall in 2000 one of the reasons they released official bootleg recordings was to control sound quality as well as keep costs down for the fans. Bootlegs were $40-$60 for double discs cause even back then PJ played long shows. For the cost of 2 bootlegs you could now get 8-9 shows. So Even more so than the money to be made May be the band wanting their music played on quality recordings.

Some dribble from the band about getting sick of 'looking back' at the past - maybe alluding to Jeff and Ed getting burned out doing the Ten, Vs/Vitalogy re-releases. Maybe a ton of red tape being with Epic/Sony? Who knows. I have this feeling I'm going to be in my 50s when they resume their re-release campaign - which if anyone remembers, when they revamped the band's website and announced the campaign schedule back in December 2008, it was going to be a regularly scheduled thing.

Just imagine how much the custom charge on that one would be if it was sold on eBay! :bz
