This morning, i listened "i got id" and appreciated Neil Young's influence in it.
I wonder in which songs (studios, live versions, b side projects...) do you find this very special atmosphere we love in Pearl Jam ?

    As a PJ fan, I know he played guitar on it.
    I just want to talk about OTHER pj songs of course... thanks !

    Oh my, I wasn't meaning to be snarky. I don't suppose I know what anyone here knows and doesn't. There are new fans discovering PJ every day, and so who knows. Maybe we should have some kind of PJ knowledge meter by our names? :D

    I can hear Neil during the Immortality solo/jam. Porch from Soldier Field 1995 has a jam in it that reminds me of some of NY and Crazy Horse's epic live jams.

    I hear Neil's influence in Smile. The back and forth guitar reminds me of Down by the River and Cowgirl in the Sand

    Not PJ per se, but Stone's solo tune "Bayleaf" is something right out of Neil's playbook.

    Agreed on both counts. Stone even sings like a Neil wannabe.
