Actually that was probably the 2nd best scenario. Florida will likely go with Ekblad, while the Sabres already have a potential for like 4 top D pairings in the pipeline.

So Reinhart (possibly Bennett) is likely the target and has been all along. Also may get the Isles' 5th overall for Dal Colle.

it does kind of stink having that kind of season and not getting #1, but it doesnt seem to really matter.

    Go Wings!

A tough draw w/ Boston in the first round but history has not been kind to President trophy winners in the past.

Habs/Lighting game was wild tonight, lost of intensity, physical play, good atmosphere, should be a dandy of a series

I thought the Montreal game was great for the fans. I'm sure neither coach is happy with the way their team played, both teams were guilty of way to many turnovers. Glad Montreal won.

Great first night of the Playoffs, I look forward to watching tonight's games, being that none of them will negatively effect my heart rate.

I didn't realize until last night that they don't reseed anymore ... isn't that what the NBA does? Should reseed ...

  • I was really happy that Montreal beat Tampa Bay last night. Really great and intense game. Here's how the Habs GM Marc Bergevin reacted when they won:

I was glad Montreal won as well.

I don't see Tampa winning with that goalie, he spends most of the game on his knees, if Montreal just keeps shooting high they'll be fine. They'll need Bishop back.
