Some of the initial pictures come off bright (probably due to the computer) but they are all excellent photos. The paintings are great. "Decay in all its beauty" and "the storm inside" are my favorites. Decay is an awesome contrast of coloring, storm inside is perfect.

    Wind this thing up.

3 pictures side by side? I like the texture in the photos.

Yes indeed three pics side by side... I'm not that excited about this one, çause you can see in the lightning of the pictures sides that they are glued together. I think this is a better attempt.

I don't know the b&w one made me look at it for a while to see what was going on. It is very interesting and shows the texture of the castle better imo. The second b&w one looks like a qhostly body at the end of the tunnel.

    Wind this thing up.

Well I like the light of doorways, it gives pictures of decaying buildings. So here's an other one...

Thanks for the compliments, I take my photos mostly on vacations, places like Greece, Wales or just around my neighborhood. It depends... My main subject is portrait photography, but without the consent of the people I take photographs off. I will not put them up here.

So here is another one out of Wales...

A lot of feeling in those stones.

I have always wanted to do photography since I got a "decent" camera. Any tips?

    Tips for photography... Lets see...
First thing I suppose is to see what subjects get your attention, this could be buildings, nature, people, what ever...
Second tip would be.., to look for the look why this subject is special to you.. try to make a picture that show others what makes this a special subject.
Third tip would be.. Don't be afraid for failure. practice, practice, practice... follow your gut instinct, if it feels right most of the time it gives great pictures.

And last but not least look at the light...and see it.... Maybe these tips are quit vague, but I hope they will help you to start up. if you have more questions I will try to answer them...
