    Franz Ferdinand in April and Nick Cave (with Mark Lanegan!!) On July 1st. Obviously stoked about Nick Cave and Lanegan, but I have no idea what the FF shown will be like - really just got tix on a whim out of curiosity; haven't listened to his music in years... I'm thinking it could be a fun show though? Probably a drunk party show, lol. It is at the Commodore, which is always pretty much awesome because it's the greatest venue on the face of the planet. :)

    Really hope some more good acts make announcements soon. It's been pretty dry in Vancouver so far this year.

    I might go to the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Friday, July 25. Avenged Sevenfold and Korn are co-headlining the festival. Other bands include Asking Alexandria, Trivium, Cannibal Corpse, Body Count (featuring Ice-T), Suicide Silence (with new frontman Eddie Hermida after Mitch Lucker died from injuries of a motorcycle accident on November 1), Mushroomhead, Miss May I, Emmure and many more.
