first.... are there any fans of built to spill on this forum.? and if so what is your take on the latest album "there is no enemy"? i am liking this more and more. i am starting to believe that this is their finest hour. i used to think "keep it like a secret" was there best but not anymore. "there is no enemy" is a masterpiece in my eyes. a truly well constructed album. if you havent listen to it ... you should. it is a little dark and slow guitar driven songs... but if that is what you like... you will love this.

    I agree, this is a great album from the first song to the last. Each of their albums is a unique sound and very different from the one before, but There Is No Enemy is definitely my favorite. I caught them this past year at Outside Lands Festival and they are definitely worth listening to if you haven't before. They even got a thumbs up and shout out from Ed at the festival who acknowledged them during Pearl Jam's set.

    I am a huge BtS fan. Only seen them live 3 times but they were great every time.

    love the new album it has some of their best songs on it.

    I don't know were i rank it but i know perfect from now on, keep it like a secret, and there is no enemy are my three favs.

    still getting into some of their first few released, but like the OP says, There Is No Enemy is solid from start to end

    I absolutely love Keep It Like a Secret and Perfect From Now On (and there other albums too!)

    loved them for a long time. I saw them in NY a bunch between 97-03. Great live band

    70 tour dates announced as well. They are playing a half hour from me. Going to have to hit that one

    Man the show near me disappeared? No longer playing Asbury. 
    Jason Isbell is now playing that venue and date. Weird
