BTW, I think this is 125 songs they played on this last tour. How crazy is that. Most bands play the same 20 songs every single night. We are truly blessed.92 - Orlando

16 covers in 30 shows. It's not like they played 16 covers in one night.
They are not like Anthrax where they will play 3 or 4 covers in one show and only play 18 songs total. I think that's BS.
But when you play 30+ songs a night, go right ahead a play a few cover songs.

Very good list and thanks for putting this together. I put together my 40-song dream PJ set list at the moment, and I'm using this list for each song that I have on there to put it together as a play list on my ipod.
One song I noticed missing from your list, and isn't a big deal, is Interstellar Overdrive. Also Nothing As It Seems, but was only played once in Spokane.Bristow, VA - 5.13.10

From the 7 boots I've listened to, Dallas so far had my favorite porch. Haven't listened to the Calgary boot. New Orleans Sirens is a good one also, with the Steve Gleason intro, but you don't get the sing along outro. Good luck, seems I would never be able to settle on a best version of the tour, especially considering I went to 5 shows and each of those boots I'm biased on.0

I disagree more than agree with your list but that's what makes the fan base great.
Variety of opinions ..
One suggestion :
Switch out long road Hartford (horrible) for "Long Road" Worcester 1 "for Boston Strong".
"This here's a REQUEST!"

Thanks for the input. I haven't listened to all the boots yet. I went to 5 shows so there were certain things I needed to have for my own selfish reasons. For example, I need Corduroy in Hartford just for the memories I had being on the rail. I had to have Garden in Seattle because I joked with everyone that if they played Garden in Seattle I'd poop my pants.
Then you have Supersonic in OKC and Brain of J in Dallas because of the meaning of the songs, etc...
This is why I posted it here before I really started to dive into it. I wanted to get other people's opinions first. Long Road in Boston it is, plus your other suggestions.

I think I'm done with my list. I ended up with 132 songs + the intro in New Orleans. This should be fun.92 - Orlando

You're dead on with Wash-okc.
I've listened to the boot a bunch now and that opener is one of the almost bluesiest versions I've ever heard. Less edgy and way way more soul.I'm like an opening band for your mom.0 -
Update us on your final choices, I'm super curious.0

I am working on a similar "project" and plan to use similar restrictions as you. I'm thinking of making it an 8-CD compilation that is made up of four, two-disc imaginary shows.
Also, I believe there were about 140 different songs played over the 25 shows but I can't seem to find any missing! In any event, I appreciate your list and will definitely have another listen to your recommendations.
Oh, I have to use the "Daughter" from Vancouver.0 -

Great work putting this together. As you mentioned, it's all a matter of personal taste and personal moments as well, but the one change I would make would be Whipping in Pittsburgh complete with the introduction by Pirates closer Jason Grilli, who uses this song when running onto the field to enter the game. Prior to the start of the show, I saw him hanging out on the side of the stage and knew we would be getting a great rendition of the song. Wasn't expecting his very enthusiastic intro. Just a great personal unique memory for me from the very electric opening night of the tour. To be honest, I haven't heard the version from Worcester but I can't imagine it having the backstory of the appearance by the Grill Master.0

Back in 2003 it seemed like several shows had 5-6 covers each night out of 25-30 songs... I enjoyed them though.JB128716 said:16 covers in 30 shows. It's not like they played 16 covers in one night.
