Since I'm not 25, who wants to have me and my g/f join in on splitting a rental? Anyone? Please?

paccy, will you hold my hand while im getting it tattooed?

oh, how adorable. shall i sign it, "Paccy"?

i missed Grace's problems with the natti. Now, the one-year requirement i can maybe overlook given her "New Album Prophecies" posts. But dissing Cincy is a horrible sin. Why would one do such a thing?

Let's do it. I think we should rent a megavan and head to the Gorge. Being over 25, I can do this. It'd be funner to travel to teh Gorge together anyway!

i think a van would be a good idea and probably cheaper in the long run since it would be split many ways

Do I have to post your thoughts about Cincinnati and Natural Light?

    PBM

see, this is so silly. why should my opinions about some random midwest city (that i've never even been to) and some light beer (i've never even had) be more influential than my HAJ TO THE BIRTHPLACE OF YIELD/SVT and my undying love for the best album of all time? i think you should look inside yourself and perhaps..re-evaulate your priorities.

i have no problems with the natti. it is neither here nor there.

i just don't get the whole connection between the city, the beer and yield. and please don't refer me to your drunken interpretation of low light. i've done my homework.

It's a tongue-in-check reflection of the time it came out and where we were then in our lives. See, Philly, YIH, PBM, aNiMaL, are all very close in age so we relate to it that way. The album cover visually was how it felt to be right outta school with the road metaphorically wide open at that time.

I actually wrote a thesis on this very subject for board consumption (there was once a thread called "What is the deal with YIELD and Natty Light?"); I gotta find it.

I think that there might be more than 12 people... even still might work out alright with a 12 passenger and then a minivan or something. Somebody start a list of attendees so we can an approximate headcount.

that's all good. i just don't know why YIH and PBM insist that *i* hold the natti/natty in the same esteem. i'm just some chick from nyc who relates to it in her own way. we need more to have more respect for eachother in relation to yield. and i also need an appointment to the yfc governing council. asap. :)

i like how you refer to yourself as a "chick." That gets you points.

PBM is just being silly too, but I think you realize that and are being silly in kind. That being said, I need to visit the YIELD thread! :D And, send me that SVT address (I dunno if Kat want it posted here).

Keep in mind though that some people might not all be going to the same places throughout the trip so more than one vehicle might be needed...well I guess that's when a taxi could come into play, but I'd hate to put in money for a van and then pay extra for a cab! Also, I very rarely like to be negative, honestly, but I would be more than willing to be a designtated driver for the concert(s) because I will probably only have 2 or 3 beers during the whole night, BUT I don't think I'll be okay driving a van...anyone else okay with driving it (staying somewhat sober)?
