My new tattoo.... the initials in the heart are for my father. When i was 12 i found out that the father i knew wasnt really my father and that my real father had left my mother when she was pregnant with me. I spent years looking for him ....A few years ago... from using facebook i met a friend of my mother and fathers from highschool and he told me that my father had passed away a few years after i graduated from highschool. So I had spent years looking for a man who had already been gone. I am left with so many unanswered questions...but this song helped me get through dealing with it...."I'll ride the wave where it takes me...I'll hold the pain, release me"0 -
That is an amazing story. Congrats on your very awesome looking new leg!!
Pearl Jam definitely has brought a lot of us through hard times; can't imagine life without this music and don't want to... the positive power that this band we love has really is incredible.
