It looks like Nine Inch Nails cancelled a few dates in Europe: both shows in Russia, a show in Ukraine and Hungary are no longer listed on the tour dates while they will now play Czech Republic on June 11 instead of June 20. This is what I found:

There are rumours that Nine Inch Nails will play at Bonnaroo this year. The festival is from June 12 to June 15.0

For the Australian and New Zealand fans: expect a more aggressive show:

Nine Inch Nails played their first two of the three shows in Tokyo on Tuesday and today respectively. They will play their 3rd and final show in Tokyo on Friday. The setlist is more varied and actually includes a song from The Social Network as well as a few songs from Trent's other project How To Destroy Angels. I can't wait to see how the band goes from here.0

Any Nails vinyl experts around here. Im working on their catalog, studio LPs and Broken/Fixed.
So far ive knocked out all the big boys but im having trouble sorting out the Pretty Hate Machine releases... obviosly theres the original 89 LP and the 2010 reissue, official remastered by trent with new artwork & "Get Down, Make Love" cover. This where my questions start...
The 2005 reissue, not backed by trent? 1 or 2 discs?
And im seeing other places another 2011 reissue with original artwork/tracklist, where did this come from?Post edited by korn-1 onI'll ride the wave where it takes me0 -

thoughts on the new songs? first song, Less Than, sounded pretty typical NIN in a good way. almost like something left off hesitation marks. Second song, This Isn't the Place, was also decent, didn't blow me away or anything though.

NIN has obviously settled on a "song formula", and I'm getting sick of it, frankly. This new single kind of sounds like any random song from NIN. Don't get me wrong - I like NIN, and I actually really enjoyed Hesitation Marks, but it's enough already. They badly need to find some new formulas and to mix it up more. Like, it seems to me that they need a whole new direction, really. Their work, while good in its own right, is really getting stale. It reminds me of Mumford & Sons, another band that found a formula to write their songs by and for some reason think they should just stick to it. The result is having a bunch of songs that all sound the same.... This process turns music into background music IMO.

^^^^^^^
I kind of disagree on the newest one, those fragile (no pun intended) falsetto vocals sound really fresh to me, I can't think of a song where Trent has sung like that before....

I thought Hesitation Marks was quite a departure from the last couple albums. And Not The Actual Events was quite a departure from it. I do hearken back to some earlier material with some of the new stuff (Hesitation Marks has a few PHM vibes to it, NTAE can sometimes be reminiscent of Broken), but I don't think he's gotten stale at all. Loving the new stuff!

I've posted this before (edit: haha, right above I just realized because there have only been a few posts since 2014, surprisingly!), but I'll post it again because it's so funny... but it's so funny because it's so apt, lol. It expresses what I was saying very nicely, lol, and the new single fits it too.
Again, I really like NIN, but seriously.... this is totally true.
