would you like Pearl Jam to have concerts where you could tailgate a couple days prior?

like for instance at race tracks, when there are no race events going, they have tons of RV space in the infield, and awesome sound systems because you have to hear over the engines, but would you like the idea of tailgating for 2 or 3 days before with other fans like Friday and Saturday and have a concert Saturday Night? I think it would be awesome I would totally rent an RV for that, it would be sweet

because the attendance would likely be in excess of 50,000 and the tracks sell their own tickets and are not part of Ticketmaster, the band could sell tickets for 50.00 a pop and still make a mint, because Ticketmaster fees are outrageous and always set aside a large chunk of the best seats to Stub Hub, plus if you have fans there for 2 or 3 days buying souvenirs, instead of 2 or 3 hours, the band would make a killing and I think we would all be enjoying the atmosphere

while some of us may have our differences on here, I think if we were hanging around some RV's with Pearl Jam playing Barbecuing and having a cold one, I am pretty sure we would all get along real well

I didn't know there would be so many people opposed to a bunch of Pearl Jam fans hanging out barbecuing listening to Pearl Jam, and sharing stories, I mean I get it if hanging out with other Pearl Jam fans is not your scene, I happen to think that they are some of the coolest people I met, any major event like that is bonding and growing experience, but if that is not your thing, I get, well kinda, actually not at all, but rock on man, Pearl Jam rules!

I think it would be awesome to have a PJ weekend with them playing Friday and Saturday nights and camping before and in between. It could have a burning man vibe as a whole community thing for the weekend.

absolutely, Pearl Jam fans are for the most part law abiding citizens, we know how to have a good time without hurting anyone else, most people wouldn't tailgate but it would be an awesome option for those of us who wanted to, they could have a different act each night, like Soundgarden or Ben Harper or Jack Johnson, something where each band can play a full show as long as they want, they could start the shows at like 6 PM, I think it would be awesome, so it would be partying during the day and a full length concert at night, 3 nights, not like a festival where there is constantly some band playing, that gives everyone there time to enjoy the day and hang out with other cool people
