Man, Pearl Jam has really inspired some shitty bands.
  • Yeh not a good attempt, but liked the guitarist. Have seen them live,do a great cover of "simple man".

Should pearl jam not cover other bands?
  • Kind of uninspired, lacking any real emotion........he is a pretty decent singer in the studio, but having seen Shinedown twice as a support band, he lip-synchs choruses - which is pretty much unforgivable in my book.

    Decent guitarist though.....

Pearl Jam picks cover songs that they know they can play effectively. With all due respect to this band- its just not working.

not bad-but possibly why it didn't make the cut for the EP.
I like to see the stripped down side of a band. The lead singer Brent is a 'power singer'...quite the showman on stage, so it's nice to see a different style. I'd like to hear the other covers.
