You get banned for not liking a song?

Is this North Korea?

I don't think the band would approve. And if I get in trouble for this, keep in mind, it seems you can spew racist bulllshit on AMT as long as you like Sirens
Edit: said member was not banned, so I retract the North Korea comment but stand by not being able to criticize a song

Yep. The fan boy and blind loyalty comments were the cake-takers I think.
That is about the least offensive thing ever written on this board, literally.
I shell out a lot of money and love for this band (just flew to 3 different cities on this last tour, plus tickets and merch purchases), but I don't think that they're infallible, and some songs do indeed suck. It should be okay to discuss that on this forum. Sirens happens to have finally grown on my a bit, but it isn't in my top 20, and my husband still hates it with a passion. At least it seems that most everyone agrees that Ole is a travesty (even the band seems to think so...judging by the fact that they don't really play it.) Don't get me started on that gooey-pop ick that is The Fixer...thank god I made it through 3 shows without hearing it this last tour. But a few turds over 23 years are to be expected, and should be open for discussion in the forums.
YOU"RE STILL HERE!
3 posts in and this guy gets it.
WE HAVE TO LOVE ALL SONGS
Clearly. Wires crossed.
Does this mean I should? I think I'm a reasonable fellow....just had to get that off my chest at the time....Most of you rubes aren't bad...I guess...
Bingo
There's a difference between saying "This song is awful. I really can't stand it" and saying something like "You stink if you like this song."
I think the first one is ok... I hope it is. The second one should not be ok.
Even if they like Creed and/or Nickelback?

Imagine going into someone's house and saying "God, you have terrible taste in furniture, don't you?! That's gotta be the ugliest couch I've ever seen!" or "Gee, your kids are just about the most stupid kids I've ever met." :wtf:
Do you really think that would be appropriate? Even if those thoughts went through your mind!
People wouldn't say this type of thing out loud in someone's home. Think of the songs as their children. The band wouldn't want to hear you call their kid a bone head idiot. Does that make sense?!
