love it. and this is coming from someone who does not like Sirens!

I am almost 40. I'll be getting my first PJ tat soon. And yes, it will be the much-maligned stickman. I don't care. It means something to me and a tat is for me and no one else.

Not sure if I'll be doing any writing under or not, maybe I'll wait on that to see if something comes to me later. Like when I'm 60.
I just got it this summer and thats exactly how I felt. I'm now so happy with it. Its a symbol that has meant something significant to me for over 20 years of my life. Don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks of it.

47 y.o. will be getting stickman with a few words from Black tattooed on my back over the holiday break. I hope I still like it when I am 67! wanted to get it before Wrigley, but I waited too long, so now I need to wait for a few days off of work!

I say go for it too. As someone who has recently been (last 18 months) as dealing with stress and anxiety I totally understand.

Two weeks ago I got my first tattoo and it is of the Surf board logo the band had a few years ago. For the last 18 years this bands music has been the soundtrack to my life, they have helped me through good times and bad and having them tattoed on me means a great deal.

It is a reminder of what the band means to me, what I have been through and it also represents a new me. If you had asked any of my friends they would have said I was the last person in the world they would have thought would get a Tattoo. Now I am planning on a second one...probably the stickman.

Don't let others sway your thoughts, if you really want it go for it!

I'd like to offer the other side, which is to not over think it. No matter what idea you have for a tattoo someone will always offer the "will you still want that in twenty years?" comment. I don't know if you already have tattoos, but literally every thread or post I've seen about a tattoo contains someone else offering their judgement or "wisdom" about it.

Well, it's your life, and I assume you understand the ramifications of having a tattoo, so if you want it, go for it. If you end up hating it you can always just get more to distract from it

Sorry "Pushin Forward Back", not trying to talk about your comment like you're not in the room, just irks me that someone always needs to give their 2 cents about tattoos. This has been building :?

That's the nicest thing someone from Toronto has ever said to me!! ;)

Thanks - it's my first (and likely only) one, and the self doubt is evident without others doing it for me :)

    Cheers from Ottawa!

You must have been here for a Leafs game in an Ottawa jersey

Tattoo looks awesome man, congrats!! So, do you care to reneg on the "likely last one" comment now??

I want Mike's handwriting for a tattoo I plan on getting. I want "Let me run into the rain to shine a human light today" but I doubt I will ever get that.

I like it!.....and I like the way you personalized it.
The Stickman is "over done" for a reason. It's the iconic mark of a PJ fan, we can recognize each other from afar.
I also figure the coroner will say "hay...a PJ fan"

It's funny this post is up, because I just made an appointment today for my first tattoo...and although this tat is popular amongst PJ fans, I want "given to fly __ .." in Ed's handwriting. The song means so much for me and is one of the songs that really made me fall in love with the band. I also want it to celebrate the fact I saw them for the first time on this tour - 4 times. :D
