Great Song. Always thought it sounded like the bastard offspring of Deep and Red Mosquito.

I always saw it as a mix of Rival and Red Mosquito...:D
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

Yeah, that one's ok. Good sing along at the end that comes across well on the boot.

I concur with the folks who thought Easy Street is the best version. I usually dig Boom alot, but he is not playing at this gig, and well, Stone's guitar is more prominent in the mix and I think it adds to this song especially. I am still confounded that I have yet to get my hands on the full set from that gig- the released CD is so heavy and aggressive, I love it.
I hold the pain, release me!
  • I didn't really dig any live versions before 2005, but from '05 onwards Eddie really nailed the vocals, especially when it came to holding those notes at the end.

My favourite version is actually from a show i went to, and that's Verona. Close behind is Pistoia or Easy Street. Adelaide II gets a nod too.

yes it was!!!! they were in perfect form that nite.
vancouver shows are always worth the effort to get to.
the band seems a little more casual and relaxed up here.although i would never miss a seattle show, there is always soooooo much security.makes it hard to relax, and if anyone flicks a lighter they are there in a second.
    but .....hey,its all good
