It's time for Strangest Tribe to be played live. Please play this gem in Calgary tomorrow night. It was released as a Xmas single in December 1999 along with Dritin'(which has been played 6 times now) and Lost Dogs 10 years ago. Come on!

Supposed to be blizzard conditions tonight/tomorrow, so it would be a perfect snowy day to play for us("sideways snow"). If PJ has forgotten how it goes they have a perfect snow day to rehearse it.

So I'm asking everyone to do what it takes to make this happen. Break out your Xmas single vinyl and dance to it around an open fire; listen to it while shaking a snow globe; play it on repeat while rubbing your kitty cat's belly....Whatever it takes. Like those Bud light commercials, it's only weird if it doesn't work!

    Ok so I don't have a record player, but I have the vinyl and I dug it out. I played Strangest Tribe on my iTunes while dusting off the record. I wanted to spin it around on my finger, but it's a 45 and the hole in the centre is too big!

    Interesting though, on the back it says it was recorded on November 31st, 1999. There are only 30 days in November, every November. So it must have been November 30. Or it could have been December 1st, 1999, which would make it 14 years ago today(or yesterday).

    Anyway, I hope I'm not the only idiot out here that's doing this stuff - help me out!

    Woke up this morning and looked outside at the sideways snow while playing Strangest Tribe on my iPad.

    Now I'm listening to it on my phone.

    I have the lyrics up on my iPad and I'm running my finger along the words on the screen while listening to Strangest Tribe.

    Trying anything and everything at this point. Hopefully I "crack the code."
