    BIRDS.

Bye week boredom. It's a perfect day to watch football without a care or get crap done around the house. But no, I have to go to some Thanksgiving parade/party in the Hatfield/Horsham area.

    Nice video.
    Alright, alright, alright!

Say what you want about the guy, but he's handled himself with class since he's been here.

Who do you root for? Cowboys or Giants? Obviously you'd be a game up if the Giants win...but Tom Coughlin -always- has them playing better in the 2nd half you almost want them to be buried...kinda torn on this one

Either way benefits us to a certain degree. Personally, I'll just let it play out and hope they beat the hell out of each other. Tony hasn't made a 4th quarter signature play in a while. :D

It's better to be hunted by one team instead of two. Go Cowboys.

you absolutely want the Giants to win this game. the Cowboys have no division losses. if they beat the Giants and Skins again it is going to be extremely difficult for the Birds to beat them out because there is almost no tie breaker scenario the Birds would be able to beat them in. if the Cowboys win those 2 division games you are probably going to have to get to 10 wins to the win the division.

and yes I know if the Giants win they will be only a game back but no NFL team starts 0-6 and ends up at 9-7 or better. it's not happening, now matter how hot they seem right now. Also the Giants already have 2 division losses and still 2 more games with Washington after this week so any tie breaker scenarios with the Giants at this point favor the Eagles.

Along with a tidal wave of AIDS.

Anyway, I understand the irrationality of wanting Dallas to win, but like I said I'd rather just have one other team to challenge for the division instead of 2 or 3.

huge test. however i think the eagles have a few things working in their favor:

-although this is the best defense they will face for the rest of the season, they have 2 weeks to prepare.
-cross country trip for cardinals...and i think the game is still at 1pm. they're a much better home team.
-they are due for a loss. biggest win of the season for them yesterday. 4 in a row.

but good god, that defense is good.

i don't know man. i want to see them win but my gut tells me that Arizona will pull it off. Seems like the last few times we played them we have lost. Hopefully i'm wrong.

yeah. it's definitely a tough one...as long as they split these next 2, i think they will be in good stretch for the home stretch though.

ha...we're 3-2 and they are 2-2 against same opponents. the chefs are a good team, no doubt-- but more often than not andy will not be at his best in big games or in tight spots like that when he's gotta think on his feet. i'm really enjoying watching their games and ours, though. it's made this season that much more interesting to me. tough stretch for them and now they are dealing with some injuries.

the comment section was funny to read. similiar to what we had here, but still new to them. they'll learn as time goes by.

in other news, it appears kelly has officially named foles the starter.

did you see the story about Foles in today's Daily News? Didn't realize it but it said that this year's NFL is on pace to break records for points per game, touchdowns, td passes, passing yardage and the QB passer rating. game moving closer and closer to how I think it should be played. :D

this should not surprise anyone. it's a passing league with all the rule changes. records are bound to be shattered on a yearly basis now. but sorry, teams will never throw it 80% of the time.

and by the way, the league average pass/run ratio is still... 54/46. the birds throw it 51% of the time. remember when you thought they threw it as much as they did when reid was here?
