but if I have to pick one obama lie from the many I'll put this one up there, people can keep their won insc. for up to a year....what a dickhead , what on earth is he trying to do besides keep fu**king Americans harder every time he opens his mouth..the guy is a total asshat.

How is this a lie? I mean, the one year he is talking about ends in 365 days or so. We have not reached November 14th, 2014 yet... have we? How can it be a lie... if we do not know whether it is true or not?

Anyway, I think a far worse lie told to us was that Iraq had nuclear weapons and were going to hit us where the Smoking Gun would be in the form of a mushroom cloud that lead us to invade Iraq which killed 4500 U.S. soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives and has buried us deep into debt that we are passing on to future generations to pay for as well as losing our standing as a military super power when we saw our troops being held up by politically induced rules of engagement that lowered their abilities from fighting soldiers to occupational police and nation builders while losing all of the worldwide sympathy we got after the attacks of September 11, 2001 and elevating Iran as a greater player in the region that it had been.
I believe that is a worse lie than telling insurance companies that they can still insure Americans holding policies that do not adhere to the new law for an additional 365 days. Somehow... and this is just me... the deaths and injuries to our military peopl is more important than having to switch health care providers.

I understand being upset at the way this healthcare initiative has been rolled out in general and at that statement Obama made in particular. That said, isn't the "lie" you are pointing to here just him trying to correct that mistake? This doesn't seem like a very big one. Was he lying when he said everyone could keep their healthcare plan or was he mistaken? I don't know, but I do know that this change to the law you are linking to is him trying correct what was stated incorrectly in the past.___________________________________________

dead soldiers can not be grought back, this law can be changed and why is so important for you to compare obama to past issues ? this today right now and it can be stoped or changed for the better, learn from the past don't use it as an excuse to justify obama's bullshit.

I agree. I believe fighting a war with drones open up too many moral issues. Like, does it extend the theater of combat to include the bases from which these strikes are launched. If so, does that make the drone pilot a combatant? And does that expand the war zone to the places he goes.. like the Costco, the McDonalds, his daughter's school when he picks her up?
If al qaeda sends an operative to kill an active duty drone pilot... is it terrorism? Murder? An act of war? Does his daughter and her school mates become 'collateral damage'?

And yes, I oppose the expanded use of drones because I would really hate it if countries like Russia and China used them.

Yes there was extreme hate towards GWB maybe due to decisions to go to war in a country such as Iraq. Why Iraq when most terrorists on 911 came from Saudi Arabia, why not search that country for said terrorists. I had no such hate towards GWB or any President none of us were in his shoes to make the decisions he had to make....mind you I did dislike him but harbored no hate towards him. I would certainly say I disliked him and felt pity for him at times.
