    everytime someone passes one of the above cars you need to do something to let them know you're in the PJ caravan.... a quick double honk of the horn work??

    In Dallas now, and have our rental. There will be four of us in a bright red Jeep headed to OKC on Saturday. Not sure what time we'll be leaving. Add us to the caravan!

    Well that's not really all that fair - you've got a 30 minute head start without traffic... and 60-90 minutes if there is traffic! (This is why I hate the 45 :lol: ) ...

    but don't underestimate the 22 MPG highway power of the Wankel ( of course that also means I'll wind up stopping at a Buckee's for gas, cause the fiance won't let me stop anywhere other than that tourist trap of a gas station) ;)

    I will also be scoring a sweet National Rental. I did manage to get a premium for cheaper than any standard, compact, ect - so maybe a Nissan ;)

    The drive will add so much to the experience... Nothing like a mini road trip in the middle of two shows to psyche you up for Night 2..

    Talking about the night before... Wondering how different the second show will be... Man I can't wait ...

    Anybody thinking about going to the OU game ... it's at 11 agains Iowa State... Never been to a big time college game.

    Reserved. Woo hoo. It is finally happening in my neck of the woods. Been spoiled in getting 3rd row seats in the past, but GA scares me! I had to miss the last show we bought tix for in 2009 due to my grandson being born weighing 3 lbs. Happy to report he is fine (superior, in fact!) but I am still smarting over missing the show. So glad they're coming to Texas!

    We are staying at Homewood Suites. Driving in from Abilene Fri. afternoon and will be looking for beer joints for pre-show revelry. HoB there sucks pretty bad, FYI.

    A heads up to those Dallas show virgins...I find Dallas to attract a generally underwhelming audience. No disrespect, but just saying. We will have to blow that perception out of the water. Can't wait to converge with fans! Everyone be safe getting there! Let's have fun!!!!

    Need a ride from anyone driving from Houston and back the same day, long shot I know. I have an extra ten club ticket, reason I need a ride, but its yours if you can accommodate.

    Okay, I think this is my first post to the board after being in the fan club for 17 years! I just had a friend bail and now have an extra ticket. My wife and I have 4 reserved tickets. I am willing to sell the extra ticket at face value or work something out. Also, if anyone wants to trade reserved for GA let me know!!! I'm a 136xxx number. Thanks guys! See you guys there!!!!

    Any groups staying at the Gaylord Texan? Bit of a drive and a bit of $$$ but we are due to bringing our toddler and grandparents to babysit 11/15. Just wondering if any hippies will subject themselves to a place like that. Friday is about ME but the other 3 days are all about entertaining family. Would love to meet up with people and split a party van or something like that.

    Haven't seen them since 2000 so I am all about comfort and trying to do it right. :lol:

    We're in Broussard! I don't know what we'd do for good food if/when we move away. I mean, there isn't anywhere else to you can go when you've got a boudin craving!
