Looking for your thoughts/prayers

I know there are much more serious issues going on with board members and their families these days based on all of the request threads for someone's father/friend/significant other/etc. This isn't a request thread at all but my 2 year old daughter had surgery on Monday to correct kidney reflux and is at home recovering. Her pain levels have been hard to manage the last couple of days. With the graciousness of members of this board never being in question I just wanted to ask for your thoughts/prayers while she recovers. No song request is accompanying this post at all, just your warm wishes.

    It's such a tough thing to see your child in pain. It's devastating. But they are resilient little people. Hang in there.

    My thoughts are with your daughter and family-I wish you all the very best. As a mother of young children myself, my heart goes out to you. I hope you find comfort in these messages of support and that you access as much support for yourself as you can - your little one needs her mum and dad to be looked after too so that they can give their best to her. Hang in there - you are doing your best for your little girl (you must remind yourself of this). Take care, Mel x

    Thank you all for the well wishing and thoughts and prayers. I also am not a very religious person so I understand some of your comments. I'm sure her recovery will be quick because as some of you have said they (children) tend to heal quickly and bounce back to themselves rapidly. She is already having flashes of her "old self." She is a very active kid typically. But thanks again...and since someone earlier said it is ok to request a song...how about just a very long show for Phoenix! :lol:
