So I unwrapped and popped the Self Pollution Monkeywrench Radio/Cassette from the Super Deluxe vs/Vitalogy box set into the Nakamichi today. Simply effing amazing live versions of Satan's Bed, and a No Attention from Soundgarden that my head is just starting to recover from.

If you've overlooked this truly ANALOG little gem from this box set (as I am guilty of), go get it right now, find that Sony double dubbing deck in your garage and fire that bad boy up.

Anyone know where I can find more of the SP MW Radio series online?

To this day that may still be my favorite Satan's bed. So raw and edgy. I remember taping it live and using that version in all my mix tapes...

I think there's more of them at pearljamlive.com if I remember right. Not sure if the site exists anymore though :(
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

I taped the one from 04031994 Fox Theater Atlanta (off of the mighty WBCN, Boston) with the band DJ'ing at the end of the show, but no PJ performances, just records. There's a great, just-hatched, absolutely ripping, Satan's Bed during that ATL show. ("We don't even know this song....Fucking play it anyway, that's right") A great Betterman, too. "This one goes out to the bastard who married my momma...."

I like to hand CD's of this bootleg out, minus the SP MW Radio part, when I go to shows.
