The "incest" trilogy - gross!!
What another great set list. Since these guys don't age and seem to want to play all night, we need to co-ordinate with venues with no curfews or later curfews so they can get the whole set list played. Speed of Sound, Wash, LEASH!!?? Wow. This was a great show, but they cut maybe 20min out as well. Could have been a marathon.0 -
"Little Sister" cover to complete the run0

19. BEE GIRLI was trying to be funny... of course "Bee Girl" was going to get played... Likely because of the City being known as "The Hornet's Nest"... or the B-ball team...

after the main set, my thought was it wasn't necessarily the rarest songs, but it was most of the best songs.9/1/98 Atlanta, 9/22/12 Atlanta, 10/30/13 Charlotte, 10/14/14 Memphis, 4/13/16 Jax, 4/16/16 Greenville, 4/21/16 Columbia, 8/20-22/16 Wrigley, Nashville/Louisville/St. Louis 20220 -

Oh man, I am just listening to the Charlotte boot for the first time, and it started out solid - particularly awesome versions of DTE and Severed Hand, and Mike killed Even Flow, but I just got through listening to Getaway and Sirens, and I actually busted out laughing at my desk.
They were both absolute TRAIN WRECKS, haha. I thought Getaway was bad.... and then I heard Sirens. Wtf happened there Eddie??
Anyway, everyone has an off night once in a while, so I am just laughing, but oh man, I hope the vibe was amazing enough to make up for that, lol. And now I'm on to Not For You, and there is something pretty off about that too..... Was something going wrong at this point of the show?? It almost sounds like Eddie can't hear the music.
Anyway, not bashing the show - I'm sure everyone who was there had a really great time. But at least this part of the bootleg is hurtin' for certain. Still more than half of the show to go, so hopefully it was only these few songs that went sideways!
EDIT: Infallible is kind of shaky too..... I mean, it's clear that they were still struggling with the new stuff here.... I haven't heard any of the other East Coast boots though, so am not sure if they struggled at the shows before Charlotte as well. I know that by the time they got to Vancouver they had ironed out the new songs.Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. First listen here as well:
Weird, I thought Getaway sounded pretty good for the first attempt. It has never been spot-on the 3 times I've gotten to see it live so far.
The Immortality solo was scorching!
