Pendulum is a good tune I think, I really liked it last night going into Release. I don't have problem w/them opening w/it like a lot of people seem too. I dig it. "Easy left me a long time ago" that's good stuff!

It would be cool to see it start the sit down set as well.

You know what, man? We are in the middle of a special time in Pearl Jam history. Let's soak every moment in. This just doesn't happen in other bands careers. To have a fan base hanging on every word, song and setlist ... 23 years in ... is a rare occurance that few others know.

It's such a pleasure to be a part of. They may not be for everybody (don't get why not) ... but they're ours! Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, has a finger on it's fans pulse ... like these guys! Ok, maybe Bruce and a couple others. But that's it.

  • Off topic but I wonder if they'll ease into things at Voodoo or just go crazy right off the bat like they typically do at festivals.

I really like the format of the shows for this tour. Having no opening band helps, as I think it frees up more time, seems like the band is not so rushed and can play a lot of variety.

I like how each show flows, it's like acts of a play that all fit together well: slow, building multi-song openers or first third of main set, thick meaty songs for back two-thirds of main set, acoustic 1st half of 1st encore followed by more epicness, then final encore just a great push to the end. And all the while working in the new songs along with great classics, and still having surprises each night.

I wish they would do something like that for one of the tour shows

I feel like I'm watching an episode of Wipeout during Porch now...

It's great to get a mostly completely different set than last night, but so far it's not even close.

Yeah, and I like the shorter main set and longer Encore 1

It will be a hits setlist at Voodoo, since they will be most likely under a 'time limit' crunch.
