I really like the format of the shows for this tour. Having no opening band helps, as I think it frees up more time, seems like the band is not so rushed and can play a lot of variety.
I like how each show flows, it's like acts of a play that all fit together well: slow, building multi-song openers or first third of main set, thick meaty songs for back two-thirds of main set, acoustic 1st half of 1st encore followed by more epicness, then final encore just a great push to the end. And all the while working in the new songs along with great classics, and still having surprises each night.0 -
