Your parents from overseas are planning on coming to visit you for the first time in the States and you make sure there will be no interferences with the fall dates you can attend even though you don't even have tickets yet :fp:

Your friends start a phone call with "I heard Pearl Jam on the radio and thought of you"

 This happens to me at least 3 times a week.

  • You hit shuffle on your iphone and are startled when a different artist then Pearl Jam starts playing.

To go along with that... You have at least 1000 songs on your phone or ipod and you forget what other artists are on it.

People ask you to do your Eddie Vedder impersonation, you decline until you have drank at least a bottle of wine.

You attempt to grow your beard and hair out like EV, end up looking like a well... a homeless person with new clothes

You can pick out a Pearl Jam song over the background noise at a restaurant. You go there again even if the food sucks , just to see if they play another song.
  • ...when you complain about ONLY seeing two out of the ten shows you wanted tickets for!!

    I saw this yesterday!

You look out the window of a restaurant and see someone wearing a Raul Ibanez shirt and immediately start humming Force of Nature!

...You not only get a stickman vinyl decal for your rear windshield, but have seriously discussed doing the "decal family" treatment complete with a female stickman and mini stickmen.

Along those lines, you've had more than one "Eddie Vedder jacket" over the years.

  • True story....

My newly licensed 16 year old son and I have been looking for a first car for him now for a few months. We both are a bit picky when it comes to cars so the right one just hasn't been found. He wants an Audi A4 with all the bells and whistles. With our budget, needless to say getting a deal on one has been elusive. We live in Atlanta and have found good cars but they've all been in California, Colorado or some other far distance. Well, wouldn't you know it, a car came up in a search yesterday of all places, Charlotte NC. Perfect, A4 Quattro Black loaded.

When I informed my spouse that I needed to go ride 4 hours to look at a used car for him, she responded. 'Pearl Jam is playing tomorrow night in Charlotte aren't they?'

I'm so busted. Need ticket, hotel room and possibly divorce attorney.

Anyone from the band does a commnet about a famous friend that you don´t know, and you just start to searching information at Google and become a fan too.
I watched some Youtube videos of Wrigley Field concert and after some researching about Ernie Baks I notice how important he is for the sport.

PS. I´m from a country where Baseball has no professional league.
  • When you stand outside Wrigley Field for 10 hours and cry and sing your lungs out even though you don't have tickets! BEST DAY EVER.
  • When your husband tells you he has to use up some vacation days before the end of the year, and you suggest heading out to Seattle (from the east coast) to see PJ!! :D:D
