I'm still kind of parsing this song.

Also, I can't unhear: "Never let her go ... Senor Lightning Bolt." Anyone else?

    Never let her go....she's Lightning Bolt. This is an amazing woman you never want to let go of. Because you will never find anyone like her. Like getting struck by lightning twice. This chick rules!!

    sometimes you really DONT know what you have until you lose her...

    some women are forces to be dealt with (force of nature!)...aint neccessarily a bad thing
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    i dont think "lightning bolt has ANYTHING to do with a girl. I think it is a bout inspiration, or a calling to do something, or the moment you figure out who you are and what your life is going to be about. for some people it is music, other people... running, teaching, political action, fighting for social justice... whatever it is, it is that thing that will not let you go and drives you do do whatever it is that you do with passion.

    I had a friend who swore Dave Grohl was singing about "Sargeant Air Raid" in that "My Hero" song. I wonder if Sgt. Air Raid is friends with Senor Lightning Bolt.
