As far as I understand: 2014 European concert dates are being planned.
And stuff we know like: Pearl Jam, with 60 million album sales, is one of the most successful rock bands.
Lightning Bolt is a perfect production with complex song structures.Post edited by jumbojet onWhat's your part, who you are?
2012: Arras, Berlin 1-2
2013: Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires
2014: Milano, Trieste, Vienna, Berlin
2016: NY MSG 10 -
That Pearl Jam have made it great with the grunge Nirvana, work today is to believe any more. What probably mainly because of the fact that over twenty years have passed, we have memorized all of Nirvana and Pearl Jam hits and only occasionally wear Chucks for walking. But musically, a lot has changed in recent years.
Translation......
With their new album "Lightning Bolt", the band led by singer Eddie Vedder once again prove that 22 years of band experience have not gone without a trace. This is reflected mainly in the production of the plate. Where new bands give themselves extra big effort to sound as "rough" and punky, Pearl Jam put the age (after all, Vedder is already 48 years old) value to absolute perfection.
This is also likely Grammy winners, the music producer Brendan O'Brien, who will be responsible for the already ensured the final touches for AC / DC, Aerosmith or grain. Even the songs are not content with simple structures or any kind of genre blinder. Instead: Variation and tune in all shapes and colors. From alternative-disco-Mitgröler ("Getaway"), folk ("Sleeping By Myself") to the Dusk Till Dawn Moment ("Pendulum"), there is much to discover. Complex for advanced punk rock.
Concerts in Europe are already planning for 2014. Pearl Jam are among more than 60 million albums sold the most successful U.S. rock bands of the past decades. Here you can order new album "Lightning Bolt" on Amazon . Whether "Lightning Bolt" will follow the same way as the number-one album "Backspacer" of 2009 will show up quickly.SECC - Jun 03, 2000

Stone recently said in a interview made for a danish magazine, that nothing was planned yet. But that he was pretty sure they would come to Europe...
I know, not a very concrete answer to your question, but better than nothing0 -
so does this mean there IS gonna be a euro tour ???? i REALLY hope so0

It would nice if they played some different venues this time and no festivals please. The Hydro in Scotland would be nice. They haven't played here for over 10 years.0
-
As much as I'd love them to play a small London venue (fingers crossed on that) I've got tickets to Glastonbury to see them play there would be amazing. Last time I went to Glastonbury they played Hyde Park so I missed that - on my birthday too. Still, no funds for a European tour right now and have a shitty broken leg too so it's hard to plan too much in the future.0

There are various rumours abound. Some saying Germany, UK, Spain, Portugal and Italy, others saying just the last couple of those countries. Some wish lists about UK/Eire venues are about too.
I guess it will depend on when they tour (for example the hydro in Glasgow is a commonwealth games venue) and also the festivals the tour will centre around.
Whilst it would be nice for them to head to the south west, playing Glastonbury would sure annoy a fair few fans I suspect!
It's all pure speculation until we get a tweet2009 - Manchester. 2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London, Berlin, Arras, Werchter. 2011 - PJ20 i & ii, Montreal, Toronto i & ii, Ottawa, Hamilton.
2012 - Manchester i & ii, Berlin i & ii, Stockholm. 2014 - Amsterdam i & ii, Trieste, Vienna, Berlin, Leeds, Milton Keynes.
2016 - Boston Fenway i & ii, 2018 - Amsterdam i & ii, Pinkpop, London i & ii, Padova, Krakow, Barcelona, Seattle i & ii.0 -
