My receiver isn't even connected. 16:9 and 4:3 are needless. My ex formatted the screen to a different size so complicated the Repair man said I need to call the cable company.

it's already funky with number 4 Set your ARC within the STB to “Cropped or Pillar box” and watch full height pictures, but lose the information on the sides…

The ARC is definitely Frucked up. I've had 15 or so people try to fix it. But this doesn't explain the band of white dots. Looks like my TV has chicken pox. Is the projecting TV messed up or the Screen it projects on?

If it's the ARC. I'm clueless how to fix it. Trust me I tried. I have to call the cable guy. I will take your advice and down size the ARC which makes the actual picture much smaller than the screen. If this doesn't work. Oh well I appreciate your time.

I hope it's not that little TV inside.

    Thanks :)

    Two questions.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

    also...

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie-Pop?

The fuck? These seemed technical and nothing...

I'm looking for a USB to HDMI adapter. How much will a decent one of those cost? Any suggestions on which one to buy?

    Yes, I have a question.

Why is this forum called "technical stuff & help" and not "technical help & stuff"?

technically, there is no technical stuff here

    2) The description for this forum reads, "After you've read the FAQ...ask, we're an ear. The new site is going through major cookie changes. We appreciate your patience as everything gets fully operational."

what's this ear stuff? where do questions go after they've entered said ear?

Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

    thank you.

    1. do not question the name of this forum.

    2. once a question is asked, it is passed through an internet "ear," which is a listening device that is strategically placed somewhere on your laptop. we cannot tell you where. do not attempt to look for it, either. the last guy who tried looking for his ear ended up spewing cookies all over his keyboard, hence the changes we are going through now. we appreciate your patience and will let you know once everything is fully operational. in the meantime, you can always reboot your computer. that always helps.

kat, is there anything i missed?

is there a minimum post requirement before pictures are allowed?
