Merch Situation so Far this tour

For all of you that went to either or both nights so far, how is the merch situation? I see they are doing event shirts and stickers. Is it really hard to get these? I don't like the idea of the early merch booths... It's gonna make it really hard for travelers coming in to get this stuff. I hope they reserve a lot for booths inside so they don't just blow it all outside. Can anyone help me out with this? I'm curious how bad it was?

  • Buffalo was good. Only ran out of one shirt in my size but i got others. They did sell out of posters outside but there was a ton more once we got inside.

From what I can tell being at the first 2 shows, your time is better spent going in to the venue as soon as the doors open and finding a merch stand inside in an out of the way spot. Both shows we went in, went upstairs and were one of the firsts in line. But, I can also understand wanting to buy stuff outside if you want to go put it in your car or hotel before the show starts.

  • No issues in Buffalo yesterday. I got to the venue around 5 and waited in line for about 30-40 minutes. Still lots of everything at that point.

As someone said, each show has had its own sticker so far. In Pittsburgh I got to the venue about 6:35, probably took me 10 mins to get in the building, pick up my 10 club tix, and go upstairs. I then waited in line at the Merch booth for probably 10-15 mins and when I got up to the front I am pretty sure everything was still available and I'm pretty sure I was at the busiest booth. I think they are trying to meet demand.

Decided to wait until after the show in buffalo to get my merch and the booth inside near section 104 was sold out of posters, hoodies and the red tour shirt in medium. They were sold out of other stuff too, but that's what I wanted.

  • Anybody know if I can bring a poster tube into the venue to keep my poster safe in the GA pit?

Really glad to read this, I have to work both days for Worcester and can't get there early.

In Pittsburgh I skipped the line outside b/c it was over an hour around 4:00. Went inside at 6:30 (waited about 10 mins) got a poster but was not able to get the event shirt that I really wanted...they only had Medium and Smalls available. Most of the others appeared to be available. I ran into a guy stocking the shirts and asked if they had any Large event shirts anywhere and he said they sold them all outside.

    ok thanks

I meant anything different like lighters, water bottles, cards etc. rather than items unique to each venue. Any new items we haven't seen before?

Nothing that hasn't already been shown in the other thread with pictures.

Pittsburgh I got to merch tent outside at about 1:30 and they had everything stocked still.

Yesterday I got to Buffalo merch tent at about 4:30 and they were out of the size Medium Buffalo shirts, stickers, and winter hats. But when I got inside the venue, I picked up all of these with ease.

Also, the city themed shirts as well as the navy blue mens tour shirt are Spectra brand, so that can assist with sizing if you have previous spectra gear. The shirts are tight in the sleeves and chest and looser around the waist.

There was some odd figurine type deal with a Wolf in Sheep's Clothing theme. Must mean something to someone but I was very confused how and why it found its way onto the table. Box was labelled with PEARL JAM but nothing else on the figure itself. They are blind boxes like the Mickey Mouse vinyl toys I see when I take my kid to Florida. Don't get those either. To each his own. They were $15.

  • 10 Club usually never has venue specific merchandise online. They will often have a generic 2013 Tour shirt or two, if they have left overs, but not Pittsburgh, Buffalo, New York, etc. specific merch. You can only get those at the show and then of course, look on ebay and places like that.

The main thing I'm worried about is the shirt... I can absolutely be there for when doors open, but I'm worried about getting my size inside. Someone said they were there when doors opened, and they didn't have Larges inside because they sold them outside? If that's true, that really sucks.

I didn't see any women's shirts yesterday in Buffalo. I really hope they will have some in Brooklyn and/or Philly...
