Keep in mind though that some people might not all be going to the same places throughout the trip so more than one vehicle might be needed...well I guess that's when a taxi could come into play, but I'd hate to put in money for a van and then pay extra for a cab! Also, I very rarely like to be negative, honestly, but I would be more than willing to be a designtated driver for the concert(s) because I will probably only have 2 or 3 beers during the whole night, BUT I don't think I'll be okay driving a van...anyone else okay with driving it (staying somewhat sober)?
matt told me before that you can take the bus or whatnot from the hotel to downtown seattle for a few bucks, so when the boys go off trying to be manly we could do that?

also, the hotel website says 19 restaurants will deliver to the rooms LOL
we can have a pizza party :)

I think one vehicle is a bad idea. Besides people will be arriving on different days and departing on different days.

Well depending when the 2nd show is added we can decide from there... maybe do the SVT pilgrimage along with hitting the baseball game if that's still a part of the intinery and not too far from each other.

I agree with this and what Joe is saying! It would be AWESOME if we all wanted to do the same things every day, but it's unlikely so therefore I think more than one vehicle is needed!

Yeah - I say we go all out megavan FRI/SAT

Assuming there is no show Friday, everyone probably wants to go around Seattle right? We all ride downtown and park the van, then do our thing and what not.

i think mike was just trying to look for the cheapest possible but if a 12 seater is the biggest there is it wont work regardless bc we have more than 12 people now....

i dont know have car rentals work since ive never done it before but i agree, we wont all want to be in the same places at the same time.

Of course, this is all with the caveat that this is still more than 3 months away.

Then again, it's cool that we're brainstorming in this thread instead of cluttering up screamer's "Philly to da Gorge" thread. I hope we do most stuff together, like VW said. I think two vehicles may do it.

Everyone, listen to this man. Seattle on Fri (with no show) is the way to go.

I think it will all be sorted out... I'm renting a car one way or the other, so that's not a big deal. I agree it will be easier and probably cheaper to get a van for the show, other than that it might just be a 2000lb gorilla on our backs for the weekend.
