The same organization that LOVED GHW Bush?
The same band that made a song call called Bush-leaguer?
No one sees the irony in this? I find it hard to believe that PJ went into the lions den hoping to "stir the pot"...
I don't get it...
Wrong

owned by the same company but 2 different organizations with 2 different mindsets.

You are correct regarding the overall ownership issues. However, that old curmudgeon doesn't make decisions regarding operations of the sports division.
Personally I agree with you about FauxNews channel and I never ever watch it except when I need a good laugh. But I have no problem watching Fox Sports or reading The Wall Street Journal.0 -

I agree about the laughs.
I was watching ESPN the other day and heard a PJ song when they went to break. I was shocked.
Anybody else hear that? Next song was DMC's You talk too much. Forgot what show though...0 -

This is cool beans!!!!
And Hank: You could be their public relations manager. No shit!0 -
This is cool in and of itself, but it will be 100 times cooler if my team makes the series.
As far as the whole 'selling out'.......stfu with that already, a band doesn't make it 20+ years without adapting. I don't fault any of them for making deals like this. They are avid baseball fans, not just EV (how many anthems has McCready performed in Seattle? They've had Mike McCready bobble head night for Christ's sake!!!) I think it's a no brainer. Good for them, and better for me as I get to enjoy one of my favorite bands at the same time as watching the World Series (hopefully my team is in it!!)
GO RED SOX!!!!!0 -
IIIIII...............LIKE IT!!!!!
Will give me a reason to watch, especially if its Dodgers / Sox. The absolute 2 worst fan bases in baseball....

Is Joe Buck calling the games? If so, even better. Buck and Aikman are my favourite announcers in the NFL.
Never knew Buck and Eddie were friends; now I have another reason to like him. Very cool.0 -
...Well alright then! I'm into it!I've been fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam live.
I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan

Game one - one run - one hit (for the other team) - one win - one step closer to being champions - Go Tigers!0

Haven't watched baseball in years. This may be just what I need to get me to watch again. The only problem is that baseball is like watching flys fuck."Not only do you have sunshine but you have better thunder...fuckers." -Ed, Phx 10/21/00
PJ * 10/21/00 - Phx * 6/7/03 - Phx * 6/29/06 - Milwaukee * 6/30/06 - Milwaukee * 11/19/13 - Phx *
EV * 11/4/12 - Phx, AZ *0 -
For the record: There are no songs from Riot Act to be found in this MLB package. And so you see, I have come to doubt
