General admission tickets? What's with that?

When I put in for my tickets I was not sure why they were offering GA standing tickets when they only do seats for safety purposes and that's what I ended up getting so I am not sure where the standing tickets are for. It says that general admission tickets allow for early entry for some venues but still not sure what that means for seats

    GA tickets are for a pit (aka moshpit) in the front half of the floor area. For Wrigley Field, the reserved seating is the same policy as always...lower membership numbers are closer to the front than the higher numbers. Seats for Wrigley are the "best seats" on the field, lower bowl, or upper bowl, depending on membership number. Seats for the fall tour are in the 100 level (including the very side of the stage) or behind the pit area.

    I couldn't tell if this was a joke thread or not, so you got a real answer.

    I just had it in my head that pearl jam does not do mosh pits anymore. That's all, thanks for the response.

    I won requested the GA Standing for the upcoming Oakland show in November 13' at Oracle. I did this because they said there would be a reserved section in the front for Ten Club member ticket holders and there would be no reason to arrive hours before the show to get in the front. I know the tour hasn't officially started yet but I hoping some one can respond with their experience so I know what to expect. I imagine our tickets will have special access to get to front or something along those lines.

    If you have tickets for Brooklyn and no longer want them, I'd gladly take them off your hands :)

    the pit is 10c only, but if you want the rail, you'll still have to get there early. if you're fine with a little further back, coming in when doors open will be fine.

    that being said, should you decide you want 10c seats instead, please let me know ;) we're looking to trade our seats for GA.
