    It warms my heart to see this. Ryan and I became very close friends in college, and he is solely responsible for me becoming a Pearl Jam fan. He took me to my first PJ show (Denver 03) and I was proud to be with him at his last (Wrigley), as well as all the many we shared in between. Ryan was one of the most genuine, kindest people I ever met and I am lucky to have had him in my life. I think about and miss him everyday.

    Light Years was one of his favorite songs, so this would be a very fitting tribute for him. I wish I could be in San Diego with Keli and Lacey, but unfortunately I can't afford any travel right now. I will definitely be buying the bootleg the second it is available, regardless if the band plays Light Years or not. Ryan and I saw PJ twice (03 and 06) and Vedder solo (2011) in SD, so I've always considered these "hometown" shows since we never got to see the band in any of the actual cities were living in.
